Calais Campbell has been one of the league’s best defensive ends for more than a decade.
Thus far in his career, he has received numerous accolades, including the Walter Payton Man of the Year award, a first-team All-Pro appearance, and six Pro Bowls.
He was also named to the 2010’s all-decade team as well.
Now, for Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, Campbell will be joining the Atlanta Falcons, taking his talents to a young team.

After he was signed by the Falcons, many fans reacted in a positive way.
SUPER BOWL

This fan was bold enough to predict that the Falcons will win the Super Bowl now that Campbell is on the roster.
The Falcons are often touted as a young team that is in need of a few role players in order to compete.
At least in the eyes of Falcons fans, adding Campbell was a needed step in the right direction.

After a 7-10 season for the Falcons in 2022, many fans were discouraged, wondering if the organization would find a similar fate in 2023.
Now that the team has added Campbell, those attitudes have certainly changed.
However, not every fan is pleased with this move, especially since their quarterback situation is still unresolved.
This is not the raven I wanted to hear associated with my falcons this morning lol

As this fan puts it, he would much rather have heard that Lamar Jackson signed with the Falcons, not Campbell.
I feel @CalaisCampbell didn’t try that hard to return to Jacksonville, and that’s disappointing. We loved him and he could have really been a part of a winning team here.#Jaguars

Fans of the Jacksonville Jaguars were also disappointed, given that he was rumored to return there as well.
