Tiki Barber had a 9-year NFL career, all with the New York Giants.
While many believed it was too soon for him to retire, Barber had made up his mind.
Since retiring, Barber has been seen on various TV shows and has also spent time as an announcer.
As Andrew Marchand recently indicated, Barber will do a full list of NFL games, which will air on CBS.

This announcement has received several reactions from fans, which have been overwhelmingly negative thus far.
Why are they still forcing us to Tiki Barber? Does anyone think he’s good? https://t.co/XbkwNDWsfC

Many fans have expressed that they don’t think Barber will do a good job in this new role.
In recent history, there have been several NFL players who have tried their hand at streaming, each with varying degrees of success.
For example, Troy Aikman has found his place in the world of broadcasting and tends to be well received by fans.
Tony Romo, on the other hand, was initially praised for his ability to predict plays in real time, but has fallen out of favor in the court of public opinion.
Will Barber meet a similar fate, at least in the eyes of NFL fans?
That remains to be seen.
While the response from fans has been mostly negative about Barber’s new role, there have been some fans who have cheered for him.

Mixed reviews seem to be part of the job description, especially when you’re in the spotlight.
Barber’s first few months on the job could be eye-opening regarding his future with the network.
