After Joe Burrow entered the NFL in 2020, he reignited a fire in the Cincinnati Bengals fanbase.
In his two full seasons as the Bengals’ starter, he has helped lead them to the AFC Championship in 2021 and 2022 and made the Super Bowl in 2022.
Burrow is highly-regarded as one of the league’s best quarterbacks but is frequently touted as second-best in the AFC behind Patrick Mahomes.
Recently, Carson Palmer weighed in on the situation, asserting that Burrow is better than Mahomes.

Palmer had a lot to say about Burrow’s greatness, including that he is more consistent and more accountable to the team’s system.
After these comments, many fans across the league took to Twitter, expressing their feelings about the situation.

As this fan highlights, Burrow has worked with two elite wide receivers in Cincinnati, Ja’Marr Chase, and Tee Higgins.
If Mahomes had a similar opportunity, this fan believes that he could easily throw for 50 or more touchdowns per season.

Another Chiefs fan doubled down on this, citing that Burrow isn’t better than Mahomes in any statistical category.
While Palmer’s comments incited negativity from Mahomes’ side, Bengals fans had their moment in the spotlight as well.

This fan was in favor of Palmer’s comments, as they are counter to what many fans and analysts believe.
While Burrow is seen as a talented quarterback, he is usually seen as second-best after Mahomes.
