The Kansas City Chiefs have just won their second championship in four years.
Each year the Chiefs are contenders, and their offensive structure is the main reason why.
Head coach Andy Reid is an elite play-caller, and his quarterback, Patrick Mahomes, is the best in the league.
But, one coach that may be underrated is offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy.
He does not get much credit for how good the offense is due to the presence of Reid.
Which is why it would make sense for him to look for a new offensive coordinator job.
Bieniemy is seeking more validation, and he will be interviewing with the Washington Commanders for their OC position.

Leaving the Chiefs to become a full-time play-caller would make sense for Bieniemy.
He would get that chance in Washington.
Also, succeeding with a different team would make Bieniemy a top head coaching candidate.
He has been waiting for his opportunity as a head coach for years, but it has yet to come.
Most of that is because other teams know Reid runs the offense in KC.
For the Commanders, this would be a great hire.
Their offense has been pretty bad for years, and they could use a unique play-caller that has helped the Chiefs win so many games.
Leaving the Chiefs and Mahomes for an uncertain quarterback situation in Washington would be tough.
But, Bieniemy could use a change of scenery, which could ultimately help him get the HC job he is waiting for.
