One of the most amazing parts of Henry’s game is that he’s only getting better with age.
At the age of 28, Henry is second in the league in total rushing yards over the year, finding himself just eight yards behind Saquon Barkley.
Henry and the Titans are playing the Green Bay Packers on Thursday Night Football tonight.
While he’s not likely to pass Johnson tonight, he has a premier opportunity to run for 125+ yards against the Packers, who are surrendering 140.6 rushing yards per game this season.
Henry Through The Years
Coming into the league in 2016, it was well-known that Henry would be a force to be reckoned with, even before playing an NFL snap.
In his junior season at Alabama, he rushed for 2,219 yards and an incredible 28 touchdowns.
This impressive season netted him the 2015 Heisman Trophy.
Henry’s success has since carried into the NFL.
In his age-26 season, Henry ran for 2,027 yards, which is his career high.
With seven games to play in the 2022 campaign, he has the opportunity to get close to that career high, if not eclipse it.
Henry is proving all analysts wrong this season.
Even at 28 years old, if a player has enough gas in the tank, they are still able to run as well, if not better than some of the other up-and-coming players in the league.
