Plenty of teams have expressed interest in signing wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, who was recently released by the Arizona Cardinals.

He is a five-time Pro Bowl and All-Pro first-team selection, and even at age 31, he appears to have plenty of game left in his tank.

He recently visited with the Tennessee Titans, and later this week he will reportedly meet with the New England Patriots.

Ever since legendary quarterback Tom Brady left following the 2019 season, the Patriots have been struggling to find themselves.

They have made the playoffs only eleven in their three seasons without Brady, and they have struggled to put points on the board.

This coming season, they will have some help in the form of wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster, who had a strong 2022 campaign for the Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs.

Last season, New England was 17th in points scored and 26th in total yards gained, and they were near the bottom of the NFL in first downs.

They got off to a 6-4 start despite an injury to Mac Jones, which had their fans thinking that a playoff berth was a certainty, but they fell apart afterwards, losing five of their last seven contests.

Hopkins had 717 yards and three touchdowns in 2022 despite playing in just nine games due to a suspension resulting from a violation of the league’s performance-enhancing drugs policy.

He could be just what Jones needs to reach his potential in his third season.
