DeAndre Hopkins Schedules A Notable Team Visit

Even though the 2023 NFL regular season is just three months away, there is a big-time free agent available on the market.

Wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, a five-time Pro Bowler and three-time selection to the All-Pro first-team, was recently released by the Arizona Cardinals and is looking for a new team.

There have been plenty of rumors that have centered around several teams that are reportedly interested in him, but this weekend, he will visit with a squad that no one has been talking about, per Tom Pelissero: the Tennessee Titans.

Hopkins had a rocky 2022 season, as he missed the first six games because he violated the league’s performance-enhancing drug policy, and he then sat out the final two games of the schedule with the Cardinals out of playoff contention.

But he didn’t do too badly, posting 717 yards and three touchdowns in nine games.

Going into last season, some picked the Titans to finish first in the AFC South, but they instead went 7-10 and missed the playoffs.

They finished 28th in passing touchdowns and 30th in passing yards, and Hopkins could help them improve those rankings.

The Titans had a noticeable lack of productive wideouts last year, and perhaps he could change the complexion of their wide receiver room if he were to choose to play for them.

One big issue for Tennessee is the fact that quarterback Ryan Tannehill will be 35 years of age when the new season starts, and he has looked at his age lately.

They will need a strong bounce-back year from him if they are to make the playoffs in a very loaded AFC.
