The Washington Commanders made quite a huge hire when they stole Eric Bieniemy away from the Kansas City Chiefs.
Bieniemy had excelled as their offensive coordinator for years, and people just couldn’t figure out how he couldn’t get a head coaching job in any of the hiring cycles.
Ron Rivera will now get a premier assistant revamping the offense, and even though Sam Howell is a big question mark at the quarterback position, to say the least, they have some solid playmakers in the receiving and running back rooms.
That’s why they released a hype video to discuss the new look of the offense, bringing back hope to a fanbase that has been through a lot over the past couple of years.

Notably, this isn’t the only good news for the Commanders.
Dan Snyder has finally agreed to sell the team, and a conglomerate including Magic Johnson will now take over the franchise after more than two decades under the current administration.
The Commanders are being subject to three different investigations right now, and it was clear that the team desperately craved a new direction going forward.
So, we can expect the new ownership group to be quite aggressive and demand results right away, so coach Rivera might not have a lot of room for error next season, so he and Bieniemy will need to get to work right away.
If that’s not pressure and motivation enough to bring the Commanders back to life, then we don’t know what might be.
