Collin Sexton will be out for another week

Hamstring problems do not leave Collin Sexton. He guard of the Utah Jazz will miss at least another week of competition due to muscle problems in the mentioned area, according to a statement issued by the organization itself.

Sexton was injured in the first quarter of his team’s loss to the Memphis Grizzlies on February 15. Since then he has not played an NBA game again although he did participate in the Skill Challenge of the All Star Weekendwhere he was proclaimed champion along with his teammates Jordan Clarkson and Walker Kessler.

His position has been well covered during his absence by Talen Horton-Tucker and the newly signed Kris Dunn, who put together a great performance in the victory against the San Antonio Spurs that ended with 15 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists.

For his part, Sexton, who was acquired by the Jazz as part of the Donovan Mitchell trade to the Cleveland Cavaliers, has played a total of 47 games this season, averaging 14.3 points and 2.9 assists.
