The Kansas City Chiefs will have a new-look offense in 2023.

Despite winning the Super Bowl, the Chiefs let a few of their key players leave in free agency.

But when you have Patrick Mahomes at quarterback, you can get away with losing some talented players.

One of the wide receivers that left in free agency was JuJu Smith-Schuster.

He only played one year with the Chiefs and then signed a big deal with the New England Patriots.

Another wide receiver they lost was a player the Chiefs drafted back in 2019.

Mecole Hardman was a second-round pick for the Chiefs but never lived up to that potential.

He is one of the fastest players in the NFL but spent most of his first few seasons stuck behind Tyreek Hill.

Then once Hardman got his chance to shine last year, he was only able to play eight games.

Hardman has only ever known playing in Kansas City, and the team sent out a nice farewell message.

The 25-year-old wide receiver now joins the New York Jets, where he hopes to be a part of an offense led by Aaron Rodgers.

Rodgers has clarified that he intends to play for the Jets, which would be great news for Hardman.

Going from Mahomes to Rodgers may not be that far of a drop-off, and maybe the Jets will incorporate the speedster more into their offense.

Hardman has yet to show what he can do as a starter for a full season.

He might get the chance to do so playing under the bright lights in New York.
