Sunday’s Super Bowl will feature two of the NFL’s best young quarterbacks.

Jalen Hurts, 24, is in his third NFL season and has taken a giant step forward in his production this season.

Patrick Mahomes is 27 and is in his sixth NFL season with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Despite Mahomes having three more years of NFL experience than Hurts, a Philadelphia Eagles reporter made a bold claim about Hurts, causing the Chiefs Kingdom to respond.

Kent Swanson is a long-time Kansas City-area podcaster, and Eliot Shorr-Parks is a long-time Eagles reporter and podcast host.

Parks asserted that Hurts is much more of a viable quarterback in the NFL than Mahomes.

If he were to create a brand-new player, it appears that he would much prefer Hurts to Mahomes.

However, Swanson contended that, because Mahomes is bigger, has a better overall arm, and understands the game better, he is the best possible “build” of a quarterback.

Whenever there is a matchup as big as the Super Bowl, media members on both sides of the issue tend to make their opinions known, especially when they are in favor of their team.

Whether or not Mahomes or Hurts is a better build or a better fit for the NFL certainly remains to be seen, especially considering Hurts’ lack of experience compared to Mahomes.

While the Super Bowl winner doesn’t necessarily decide who is the better player, it will help cement the legacy of either one of these superstar athletes.

Who will prevail on Sunday?
