Heading into the Super Bowl, the Kansas City Chiefs continue to be touted as one of the league’s top offenses.

However, their defense, while not quite as dominant as the Philadelphia Eagles, has been impressive in its own right.

Despite a good season, the Chiefs’ defense has been overlooked, especially leading up to the Super Bowl.

Yesterday, Chris Jones, one of the best defensive tackles in football, made sure to let the world know about their defence.

Jones had 15.5 sacks during the regular season and has added two in the postseason.

Despite the Eagles having one of the best offensive lines in the entire league, Jones, along with a player like Frank Clark, could disrupt their entire offensive scheme.

The Eagles did allow 44 sacks in the regular season, which was tied for 11th most in the league.

If Clark and Jones can get home early, Jalen Hurts could find himself uncomfortable in the pocket, causing him to throw more than he’s had to in recent games.

In the playoffs thus far, Hurts has attempted just 49 passes, which is largely due to the Eagles’ superb run game.

However, the Eagles haven’t faced players like Clark and Jones, and they might have to abandon their run game early, especially if they find themselves in a negative game script.

Neither the Chiefs nor the Eagles have trailed in the postseason in either of their two games thus far.

When one of these teams inevitably finds itself behind, we will see what their passing attack is made of.
