The New York Jets are making their move to turn over their offense to Mike White.
White, who takes over for the benched Zach Wilson, is making his first start of this season.
While this isn’t his first time leading the Jets offense, it’s his first time this season.
However, when he took over for Wilson last season, he went 1-2 in three starts.
So can he make a difference this season with the Jets, or are they hopelessly doomed at quarterback?
Last Game White Was In Was A Disaster For Him
If any fans remember the last game White was in, they’ll remember how bad his performance was against the Buffalo Bills.
In a game where he had a lot of passes, he threw four interceptions in a loss to the Bills.
#Jets QB Mike White has thrown 4 interceptions today. Guess that settles one question with their QB issues.

With the horrible performance, the Jets went back to Joe Flacco in the following game.
However, even after a poor performance in his last NFL start, the Jets are giving him a second chance.
But can he come out looking better in 2022 than he was in 2021?
White Has Some Promise As Starting Quarterback
Not everything is bad about White, as he has shown promise in his career.
His first NFL start last season saw him passing for 400+ yards in a win over the Cincinnati Bengals.
Mike White is now over 400 yards passing. Last #Jets QB to go over 400? Vinny Testaverde in 2000

It made him the first player from the Jets to do this since 2000.
If White can have a game like his first NFL start, he can make a difference with the Jets
However, it’s hard to tell which quarterback the Jets will get in 2022.
