Even though the NFL season hasn’t started, and teams haven’t even taken the field for preseason games, we can already start speculating about the upcoming playoffs.
We’ve seen the moves most teams have made, we’ve seen just how better — or worse — some teams have gotten, and we’ve seen their schedules.
With that in mind, former NFL wide receiver Brandon Marshall went as far as to predict that the Philadelphia Eagles will square off vs. the New York Jets in the upcoming Super Bowl.
“February. Las Vegas. Eagles vs. Jets. I do know this is the #SuperBowl matchup. I do the know the Jets is gonna win.” – @BMarshall

Moreover, the former Jets player also predicted the Eagles to lose at the biggest stage for the second consecutive year.
Truth be told, this isn’t exactly a far-fetched prediction by any means.
The Eagles won’t have an easy schedule, but they’re still the most stacked team in the NFC East, keeping most of their core from last season and adding some major reinforcements to their already intimidating defensive unit.
Other than the San Francisco 49ers, it doesn’t seem like there’s any team in the NFC that’s actually suited to go toe-to-toe with them, at least for the time being.
As for the Jets, going from not even making the playoffs to making the Super Bowl — let alone winning it — could be a lot to ask if it wasn’t for the fact that they traded for that guy called Aaron Rodgers, and he’s supposed to be pretty good.
They’re stacked at every position and have a somewhat favorable schedule, so it wouldn’t be crazy to see these teams square off at Allegiant Stadium for Super Bowl LVIII.
