While the Carolina Panthers should celebrate their win on Thursday night, quarterback Baker Mayfield took the celebration too far.

After the team closed out their game against the Atlanta Falcons with a 25-15 victory, Mayfield took to the field.

However, what he did next was both dangerous and crazy.

So what was he doing Thursday night that was so dangerous?

Baker Mayfield Celebrates Thursday Night’s Win By Head-Butting Teammates

While some NFL players head-butt each other with their helmets on, Mayfield took things to the extreme.

He went and head-butted his teammates without his helmet on.

The bold and dangerous move led Al Michaels to say how his actions can land him in concussion protocol.

With the starting job now given to PJ Walker, it seems Mayfield can care less about being a starting quarterback again.

However, his actions are not only dangerous but hazardous to his own health.

With the NFL already going through changes to their concussion protocol, the actions of Mayfield puts the spotlight back on concussions.

While it’s unknown why he did such a dangerous thing, his teammates doing it back to him didn’t help the situation.

If the young quarterback is losing hope of being a starter again, doing this won’t help him get a starting job.

However, it can give him a one-way ticket to serious injury.

We have already seen with Tua Tagovailoa how serious concussions can be during a game while wearing a helmet.

One can only imagine how bad it can be for someone doing something so dangerous without a helmet.
