Analyst says 1 NFL team has a ‘rock star’ no matter where you look

The San Francisco 49ers have been perennial Super Bowl contenders, but never seem to reach the ultimate goal.

However, general manager John Lynch has still done an outstanding job of stacking that roster with as much talent as possible on both ends of the field, especially on offense.

That’s why NFL analyst Craig Carton believes that it doesn’t matter who your starting quarterback is, as whoever gets the ball will have a “rock star” everywhere they look on offense.

He praised Christian McCaffrey off the field and Deebo Samuel as a running back and wide receiver, adding that Brandon Aiyuk has now become the best third choice in the entire National Football League.

Truth be told, it’s hard to find a team as talented as the Niners, at least in the NFC.

But unlike what Carton says, it does matter who takes the shots down the field, since poor quarterback play has been the only thing holding this team back for a long time.

They haven’t had a legitimate star at the job since Colin Kaepernick’s regression, and Jimmy Garoppolo got hurt when it looked like he was about to explode.

Hopefully, for the fans, Brock Purdy will turn out to be as good as the front office hopes he is.

If not, they still have Trey Lance, but as of now, it seems the team regrets giving up so much to get him in the first place.
