It’s been a long time since the New York Giants were one of the powerhouses in the NFC.
Nonetheless, the first year with HC Brian Daboll was quite encouraging, and the front office looks set to be with him for years to come.
That’s why NFL Network analyst Shaun O’Hara believes they can actually take on every team on any given night.
“They’re not the sexiest team on paper… But the faith and culture that Brian Daboll has brought to that team in the locker room… They feel like they can compete with anyone and this is the 1 reason why… . the ball is over”.

O’Hara knows they’re not one of the teams to watch by any means, but they still managed to beat the odds more often than not, winning games most people thought they should have lost and even picking up a win in the playoffs.
Furthermore, he praised Daboll for the culture he has instilled in the locker room, mainly because they now feel like they are never offside.
Last but not least, he praised his ability to take care of football, which is obviously a must for winning football teams.
Daniel Jones was quite prone to turnovers during the early stages of his career, so seeing him take better care of the ball and limit turnovers was one of the many reasons he had the best season of his career up to the date.
The Giants made a big financial investment to keep him on board for years to come, and while some people believe they overpaid for his services, he’s still young and Daboll seems intent on getting the best out of him.
The Giants may not be a clear contender, but they’re definitely a lot better than some people think they are.
