Patrick Mahomes, at least in the eyes of many fans and analysts in the NFL, is the best quarterback in the league.
He has won two Super Bowls, and two league MVP awards to boot.
However, in a recent segment of Speak on FS1, Emmanuel Acho claimed that Lamar Jackson is the one quarterback that could overtake this title.

The Baltimore Ravens finished the 2022 season with a Wild Card playoff loss, after an up-and-down year.
Jackson’s health was a main concern for the team, but he appears to be back, ready to make a massive impact on this team.
Does he have what it takes to surpass Mahomes’ production?
Let’s take a look at what both players have achieved up to this point.
Jackson has won a league MVP award, putting the league on notice during the 2019 season.
2022 was Mahomes’ best statistical season, throwing for 5,250 yards, 41 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions.
He also added 358 rushing yards, adding four touchdowns on the ground.
Jackson’s best season thus far was during his MVP campaign, but he threw for 2,000 fewer yards than Mahomes’ best season.
However, his value came through his legs that season, rushing for 1,206 yards and seven touchdowns.
Both quarterbacks bring something different to the table and have been identified by their respective organizations as the face of the franchise.
With a new offensive coordinator at the helm this year, there’s no telling what Jackson will be able to accomplish.
However, Mahomes will continue to give him a run for his money, given the continued strength of the Chiefs’ offense.
