The Philadelphia Eagles have done an excellent job bringing together young talent alongside their proven veterans in recent years.
That’s why they felt comfortable letting some players go this offseason, knowing they had more than enough young guys who could step up and lead the way forward.
With that in mind, NFL analyst Mike Garafolo predicted that Nakobe Dean would have a big year next season, basically because he doesn’t have a choice.

Garafolo explained that the Eagles organization doesn’t usually spend a lot of money on linebackers, so he fired some.
He added that Dean would now have to play a lot more after spending most of his rookie season playing on special teams, adding that he will also captain the defense and be in charge of calling the plays.
Garafolo said reports of Dean’s offseason have been fairly positive, adding that there are no signs of those health concerns some had about him when he first entered the league.
Plus, Garafolo says Dean will have to be much more expressive and aggressive in his second season as one of the defense leaders, but that’s a role that should come naturally to him after his college days with the Georgia Bulldogs. .
GM Howie Roseman has built an elite team, and it shows when you have the luxury of filling a few gaps with an elite prospect like Dean.
