Joe Burrow has only started 42 career NFL games, but he has made a name for himself.
The Cincinnati Bengals have appeared in two straight AFC championships, with much credit to Burrow and the offense.
Hopes remain high for Burrow heading into the 2023 season, and in a recent installment of NFL Total Access, Brian Baldinger made an interesting comparison for Burrow.
“His ability to go through progressions is like a ginsu knife going through my ribeye,” Baldinger said.

Baldinger had several compliments for Burrow, noting his precision and decision making.
Last season, Burrow had the fifth-most passing yards in the league, and his 35 touchdowns were tied with Josh Allen for the second-most total.
He also completed passes at a rate of 68.3%, which was one of the highest marks in the league.
With all this in mind, Baldinger continued to sing Burrow’s praises, even drawing comparisons to Patrick Mahomes.
He went on to break down five of Burrow’s best pitches from last season, showcasing his ability to thread the needle through tight coverage.
Burrow has one of the league’s leading receiving rooms, which many analysts use as a crutch when talking about him.
He’s not likely to have Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins forever, and his window with two elite receivers on this team could be closing.
Can Burrow and the Bengals do enough this season to be at the top of the AFC standings, reaching their second Super Bowl in three years?
With a significantly improved offensive line, anything is possible.
