The Green Bay Packers are no longer Aaron Rodgers’ team, and oddly enough to say that, it was about time it happened.

His relationship with the front office was not in a good place, and there was a constant power struggle with him and the organization.

Needless to say, not many people think they’ll be good with Jordan Love taking over the offense, at least not right away.

However, former NFL CB Dominique Foxworth thinks they could even make the playoffs next season.

Foxworth explained that the Packers actually have an elite defense in terms of talent, but they haven’t been able to live up to expectations.

He also said that as much as people criticize general manager Brian Gutekunst, the Packers are a very talented team on both sides of football, so it’s not like they should be the worst by any means.

Last but not least, the former defensive standout cites that Love doesn’t necessarily have to be a star or even Rodgers 2.0; he just needs to be a little better than Rodgers was last season.

Of course, that will be a very high standard to meet, even if Rodgers didn’t have his best season in 2022.

Early reviews of Love have been quite positive, and he clearly has the full support of his coaching staff and teammates, so there’s still a chance he could be much better than some people are expecting him to be right now. of his career.
