For years, foreigners have mocked Americans for their love of soccer and how the NFL champion is called the world champion, despite the fact that the league is only played on American soil.

But as the years go by, the demand for NFL games around the world keeps growing and the game has become more popular all over the world.

That became apparent again as soon as the league began selling tickets for the upcoming matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Miami Dolphins in Frankfurt, Germany for next season.

According to NFL reporter Ari Meirov, only 15 minutes passed before tickets sold out, which go on sale today at noon local time.

Additionally, Meirov posted a photo of the queue of over 1 million people who were also trying to buy some tickets for the game.

Needless to say, this is a huge success for a game that continues to make big strides on international soil.

The NFL is no longer America’s main pastime; fans from all corners of the Earth are beginning to enjoy and embrace it, and football in general is also a sport on the rise.

Also, any time you get a chance to watch Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce take on Tyreek Hill and Tua Tagovailoa, you make the most of that, especially if it’s your only chance to watch a football game live.

There’s been a lot of speculation about a possible overseas expansion, and judging by the numbers, it might not be that far-fetched.
