The New York Jets will be the talk of the NFL during the 2023 season, with superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers in town and seemingly having the time of his life in the twilight of his playing career.
After a long and successful stint with the Green Bay Packers, Rodgers knew it was time to move on and forced his way to New York after much speculation about where he’d end up or if he would ultimately decide to retire.
Despite seriously considering retiring with one Super Bowl title and four NFL MVPs to his credit, Rodgers embraced the challenge of playing in the biggest market in the country and spending nearly two decades in one of the smallest in Green Bay.
Although this is a drastic change for the veteran quarterback, Rodgers seems to be doing better than expected under the bright lights of his new city and made it clear that he’s having a lot of fun with the Jets via Harrison Glaser of Take Flight Media.
“The last six weeks have been about the most fun I’ve had in a while. It’s fun to come to work & be excited about what we are doing. We’ve got a great QB room. To work with Zach & Tim & Chris has been a lot of fun.”- Aaron Rodgers#Jets

Rodgers having the most fun he’s had in quite some time over the past six weeks since the trade is a great sign for the Jets moving forward, as it could carry over to the regular season and be beneficial for the team as a whole.
However, the challenging part about playing in New York has yet to be experienced by the future Hall of Famer, as he hasn’t even played a down yet for the Jets and dealt with the media onslaught that comes with struggling in the Big Apple, so it’ll be interesting to see how this may change in the months ahead.
