Football is a physical sport, and we’ve seen multiple NFL players suffer the consequences at some point in their lives.
Although, sometimes, it has nothing to do with football, and you never know when a life-changing event might happen.
That was the case with former Tennessee Titans running back LenDale White, who recently admitted that he suffered a life-threatening heart attack.
Speaking on the I Am Athlete podcast next to Pacman Jones, Brandon Marshall, and Marshawn Lynch; White opened up on the ‘widow-maker’ heart attack he suffered four years ago.
“When you’re 34 and you have a heart attack, that changes your life forever. I definitely workout now.”

Needless to say, that was a major eye-opener for the former running back.
“When you’re 34 and you have a heart attack, that changes your life forever. I definitely workout now,” White said.
He claims he’s made drastic changes to his diet and habits overall, trying to work on his physical, mental, and emotional health every single day of his life.
Despite being out of the league for quite some time now, White claims he’s currently working out harder than he ever did when he was padding up and breaking tackles in the NFL.
Also, he gave former teammate Chris Johnson plenty of praise for helping him get mentally stronger and focus on what’s really important in life.
White had a solid stint in Tennessee, rushing for over 2,300 yards and 24 touchdowns in four seasons with the Titans.
He was later traded to the Seattle Seahawks and cut shortly after, and he could never get back on a first team’s roster despite having multiple stints in practice squads around the league.
Still, he won the biggest game of his life, and that’s all that matters.
