Despite the Philadelphia Eagles’ loss in the Super Bowl last night, Jalen Hurts had a masterful performance.
He threw for 304 passing yards and a touchdown and added 70 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns.
Before last night’s game, it was revealed that Andy Reid played a part in the Eagles landing Hurts, given his ties to the organization.
Cool tidbit from @mortreport on ESPN: #Eagles GM Howie Roseman reached out to #Chiefs HC Andy Reid before the 2020 NFL Draft and asked what he thinks of Jalen Hurts.
Roseman knew KC didn’t need a QB so he felt comfortable asking. Reid said he liked Hurts and gave a positive… https://t.co/NNjSpwk4D5 pic.twitter.com/pXc2mN3zGW

The Eagles drafted Hurts in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft.
At the time, Carson Wentz was their quarterback, but Hurts’ upside was simply too good to pass up, and he became their starter in 2021.
He has quickly risen to the top of the quarterback landscape in the NFL, evidenced by his nomination for league MVP this season.
The Eagles are in great hands with Hurts, and he looks to be the team’s leader for the foreseeable future.
His ability to pass effectively paired with his rushing upside makes him one of the most dangerous athletes in the NFL.
Hurts brings immense value to the Eagles, which was on full display last night.
Although he is entering his fourth season in 2023, Hurts might be the best at quarterback sneaks in NFL history.
He is one of the strongest quarterbacks in the league, given that he can back squat and deadlift over 600 pounds a piece.
This makes the Eagles that much more dangerous, seeing that, at any moment, Hurts can sneak with ease.
The Eagles will likely be the team to beat in the NFC moving forward, considering the dominance of both Hurts and their offensive line as a whole.
