Albert Pujols had a legendary career which was capped off by an epic home run chase.
Late in the season, the St. Louis Cardinals legend hit his 700th career home run and forever etched his name in the history books.
His signature stance will live on in Cardinals history, as will his accomplishments.
However recently, Pujols has changed his look slightly.
A few months into retirement, the future Hall-of-Famer chose to shave off his beard, which is something he has had for the vast majority of his career.
On Twitter, a Cardinals fan posted a comparison of Pujols with and without his beard.

It’s safe to say that Pujols looks completely different without his beard.
It’s not a bad thing, by any stretch of the imagination, but some fans are going to take a while to adjust to the slugger’s new look.
Pujols hasn’t sported a clean-shaven look since the earlier days of his career, so it’s a little something that people may have to get used to seeing.
The photo of the 43-year-old without his beard is from Justin Turner’s recent golf tournament.
The future Hall-of-Famer and Turner were teammates with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2021.
But for this golf classic, Pujols decided to go with a nice new look, one not seen since closer to the beginning of his legendary career.
One thing that most likely hasn’t changed is his ability to crush baseballs.
He may be retired now, but his new look certainly doesn’t change too much about him.
