This weekend will mark the fourth time that the NFL has hosted the Super Bowl in Arizona, and the third time that the event will be hosted at State Farm Stadium.

The New England Patriots have been involved in the past two Super Bowls in Arizona, and they did not disappoint.
In their last Super Bowl in Arizona, the Patriots held the Seattle Seahawks at the goal line, which has gone down as one of the most memorable plays in Super Bowl history.
Despite their success rushing the ball during that game, the Seahawks elected to throw the ball in crunch time, which allowed the Patriots to secure a timely interception, effectively ending the game.
However, the Patriots have a 1-1 all-time Super Bowl record in Arizona.
In 2008, the New York Giants defeated the Patriots, 20-17, in what has been said to be the most talked-about Super Bowl in history.
The Giants defeated the Patriots in this game, largely due to a spectacular catch by David Tyree, which set up the game-winning touchdown to Plaxico Burress.
By beating the Patriots, the Giants not only secured another Super Bowl victory but ended the Patriots’ chances of a perfect season, something that had only been done one other time, by the 1972 Miami Dolphins.
Will this weekend’s game live up to the hype of previous Arizona Super Bowls?
Chances are likely, given the high-flying nature of both teams, as they come into this game as the NFL’s highest-scoring teams.
