3 Bold Predictions For Week 9 In The NFL

The 2022 NFL season isn’t new anymore, and we’ve reached the part of the season where it is time for certain teams to make a bold statement or to turn things around after a poor or lackluster start.

A number of would-be Super Bowl contenders are struggling at the midway point of the season, but there is still plenty of time for them to turn things around, as it’s more about who gets hot in November and December than who has the best records throughout the season.

Here are three big things we feel will happen in Week 9 throughout the NFL.

1. The Los Angeles Rams Will Defeat The Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The last two Super Bowl champs will meet in Florida on Sunday, and surprisingly, neither team is doing well.

Los Angeles is 3-4 and coming off a 31-14 dismantling against its NFC West rival San Francisco 49ers, while the Bucs are 3-5 and have dropped five of their last six games.

Tom Brady’s play seems to have declined a bit, and the Rams continue to be banged up.

But it seems the Rams’ problems are more fixable, especially as Brady continues to deal with the fallout of his divorce from model Gisele Bündchen.

2. The Los Angeles Chargers Will Get Back On Track

Very few NFL teams have been as banged up as the Bolts have been, and it has been a factor in their hugely disappointing 3-4 record.

At times they have shown flashes of what they can be, but a burgeoning three-game winning streak was snapped last Sunday when they lost to the Seattle Seahawks, 37-23.

Atlanta has been struggling on the defensive side of the ball, and offense is where the Chargers tend to thrive.

If wide receiver Keenan Allen is able to play and play well, don’t be surprised to see LA control this contest.

3. The Green Bay Packers Will Fall To The Detroit Lions

The 3-5 Packers will visit Ford Field to take on the 1-6 Lions, and Aaron Rodgers and company badly need some wins.

Green Bay’s offense has been very anemic, but Detroit’s offense has been surprisingly solid, and it will be interesting to see if the Packers’ lackluster rushing defense can contain Jamaal Williams, who has 464 yards and eight touchdowns through his first seven games.
