The Philadelphia Eagles are hot, and they remain undefeated about midway through the NFL season.
They improved to 7-0 on Sunday by notching a relatively easy win over the struggling Pittsburgh Steelers, 35-13.
Quarterback Jalen Hurts had a fine performance, going 19 of 28 while throwing four touchdown passes, while No. 1 wide receiver AJ Brown had 156 yards and three touchdowns.

Naturally, the question everyone is asking is whether Philly will remain undefeated through the rest of the regular season.

Only two other NFL teams have gone undefeated through an entire regular season – the 1972 Miami Dolphins and the 2007 New England Patriots.
The Eagles Have A Relatively Favorable Schedule
Philly will not play a team that is currently over .500 until Week 13 when it will face Derrick Henry and the Tennessee Titans.
The Titans are currently 5-2, but other than prolific running back Derrick Henry, they don’t have a whole lot of weapons.
The following week, Hurts and company will travel up I-95 to take on the surprising New York Giants, who are currently 6-2, and they will host the Giants to conclude the regular season on January 8.
There will also be a matchup on the road versus the Dallas Cowboys, who are also currently 6-2, in Week 17.
Given how well the Eagles have been playing, these are all theoretically winnable games for them, although none of them will be easy.
One thing that will help is the acquisition of pass rusher Robert Quinn, who had 18.5 sacks last year as a member of the Chicago Bears.
But there is a reason only two teams have gone undefeated, and therefore, it is probably very unlikely the Eagles will become the third.
Of course, if they do pull off the feat, it won’t matter unless they also win the Super Bowl.
The 2007 Patriots know all about how empty and meaningless an undefeated regular season record is when it isn’t followed by a world championship.
