The Tennessee TItans took a huge hit before the season.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the league suspended OT Nicholas Petit-Frere for six games for violating NFL wagering policy.

According to Schefter’s report, the offensive tackle insists he did not bet on any NFL games.

However, he placed bets on other sports while at the workplace, which is a clear violation of league policy.

The NFL continues to crack down on these violations, suspending several players in the offseason for similar violations.

The biggest irony is that the league has embraced the sports betting industry now more than ever, even allowing fans to place bets on games in some stadiums.

Some of their main partners and sponsors come from the world of sports betting today, but they don’t want players to risk the integrity of the game by getting in on the action.

League policy states that no player or staff member may place wagers on any sport while on team premises or during work-related travel, but they are free to wager when on their own time, as long as when since it never deals with NFL games or NFL related bets.

They even had Tom Brady record a series of clips and messages urging players not to put their careers at risk by gambling, and judging by the way they’ve dealt with these violations, it’s only a matter of time before they give up. example. outside of a player, just as it happened with Calvin Ridley last year.
