Former NFL great Deion Sanders has been dealing with some major issues of late.
The legendary defender underwent emergency surgery on Friday morning after his medical team discovered blood clots in his groin.
And while it seems like everything went exactly as planned, it may be a while before you recover.
That’s why his beloved girlfriend, Tracey Edmonds, took to Instagram to promise that she shouldn’t leave his side until he gets his full strength back.
Needless to say, it sparked countless likes, reactions, and comments on the social network, with countless fans wishing Coach Sanders well.
Notably, Sanders is still not clean.
Not long ago, his medical staff alerted him to the possibility of having his foot amputated.
He’s already lost a couple of toes to those blood clots and it looks like his health might be deteriorating rapidly.
That’s definitely a big concern for the Colorado program and its fans, as Sanders was ready to take control and lead the way, looking to find the same success he found during his iconic three-year tenure at HBCU Jackson State.
It doesn’t look like Sanders will be able to meet his contractual obligations to the show if things continue like this for him.
Then again, your health should always be the number one priority, and people will definitely understand if you’re forced to stay on the shelf while you get back to full strength; he has earned it.
