It’s been an eventful offseason for the New York Jets, but not in the way they’re used to.
Outside from Quinnen Williams’ contract situation — which is expected to be taken care of pretty soon — most reports and news regarding the Jets have been positive in the past couple of months.
Now, one of their young standouts has made the news for making a pivotal decision in his young career, changing agencies to join Vayner Sports.
Notably, he’ll now be represented by the same agency that represents his former teammate at Cincinnati, Desmond Ridder.

It didn’t take long before Ahmad “Sauce” Gardner became a signature name in the National Football League.
He ran away with 2022 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year honors, and he was also a legitimate candidate for being 2022 NFL Defensive Player of the Year.
Gardner enters his second season in the league as the highest-ranked cornerback in the game.
He was a force of nature in man coverage, completely locking up some of the best wideouts in the league when rival QBs dared test him.
Gardner has silenced those who doubted his ability to replicate the almost-unprecedented success and numbers he posted with the Bearcats, and he’s only getting started.
The Jets have put together one of the most impressive defensive units in the game, and they should make it a point of emphasis to keep Gardner in town for the long run, so even if it’s still early to talk about a contract extension, his new Agents should already be talking numbers and making projections.
