The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will enter a bit of a transition phase, so the 2023 NFL season might not be the most exciting or anticipated by their fans.
Losing Tom Brady is a massive blow, and there were already some doubts about their offensive line and Todd Bowles’ ability to lead the team going forward.
But at least the Bucs will bring back their throwback Creamsicles uniforms for one game next season, which was perhaps the most exciting announcement they could’ve made in the offseason.
Recently, the team confirmed that their signature uniforms would be back on October 15 for their game vs. the Detroit Lions, sharing the news with a hype video on social media.

That’s pretty much the high point of the season for a Bucs team that’s pretty much a question mark right now.
Baker Mayfield is leading the race to take the reins of the offense.
He finished last season on a high note when subbing in for the injured Matthew Stafford with the Los Angeles Rams, showing glimpses of the great talent that made him go No.1 overall in the NFL Draft just five years ago.
But history has already taught us that he’s going to be hard to trust on a week-to-week basis, even if he’ll have an elite set of wideouts at his disposal in Mike Evans and Chris Goodwin.
The NFC South has a case for being the weakest division in the game, but all teams except for the Bucs got significantly better in the offseason.
