The Philadelphia Eagles will continue to be the team to beat in the NFC East — and most likely the NFC — in 2023.
At least, that’s what Dallas Cowboys legend Troy Aikman seems to think, based on his recent appearance on ESPN’s Get Up.
When asked about his lifelong rival’s chances, the legendary quarterback had no choice but to tip his hat off to Eagles GM Howie Roseman for how he’s put that contending team together.

Furthermore, Aikman pointed out that the team has no weakness on either of its lines, also lauding Jalen Hurts for the great strides he’s made between seasons.
Aikman acknowledged that all seasons are different, but he did like the Eagles’ chances to go back to the big game.
The Eagles were the most dominant team in the NFL throughout the regular season, and their playoff performances were also nothing short of spectacular.
They even were up on the Kansas City Chiefs entering the second half of Super Bowl LVII before Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes put on a masterclass to prove why they were the team to beat in the league.
There has always been a lot of talk about the Super Bowl hangover and how losing teams may not be able to find that same success in the following seasons.
But one could argue that the Eagles actually got better this offseason, even if they lost both of their top-ranked assistants.
Cowboys fans may not be thrilled to hear Aikman praising the Eagles, but he was right on point with his assessment of their divisional rivals.
