With each week passing, it’s becoming more and more apparent that Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers will not be winning a third-consecutive MVP award.
The Packers are an abysmal 4-7, which is their worst start to a season since Matt LaFleur took over as head coach in 2019.
To make matters worse, Rodgers isn’t playing his typical high-caliber brand of football.

Remember Josh Johnson?
Johnson, who has played for an NFL-record 14 different franchises, has thrown for 300 yards in a game more recently than Rodgers.
Although many are chalking up his poor play to a lack of depth at receiver, as more exists than initially meets the eye.
A Season Of Anomaly
For the first time since 2014, Rodgers doesn’t have a safety blanket at wide receiver.
In prior seasons, he has had familiarity and rapport with players such as Davante Adams, Greg Jennings, James Jones, Jordy Nelson, and Donald Driver.
Although he does have familiarity with Allen Lazard, Lazard has had a tough time staying on the field.
In the Packers’ last two games, rookie Christian Watson does have five touchdown receptions.
Could this be the new weapon that Rodgers has been craving since the departure of Adams?
That remains to be seen.
But, with a completion percentage of 64.6%, only 19 touchdown passes, and a whopping seven interceptions on the season, Rodgers needs to start playing up to his MVP form.
The most Outlandish of the above stats have to be his interception total.
With seven picks through only 11 games, Rodgers has already surpassed his previous five season totals.
Let’s hope that Rodgers can find his MVP form, and fast.
