Patrick Mahomes is on top of the football world, yet he isn’t satisfied yet.
The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback won his second Super Bowl a couple of months ago, and he is already on the short list of the greatest players to ever play his position in NFL history.
He was seen putting in work at Texas Christian University along with several other pro players, including San Francisco 49ers QB Trey Lance, Marquez Valdes-Scantling and several other Chiefs wide receivers.
Another Texas throwing session from #Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes. He’s joined by Shane Buechele, Chris Oladokun and #49ers QB Trey Lance.

Winning two Super Bowls in a span of four years is no small feat, but the way Mahomes has done it makes the feat even more impressive.
He perhaps lost his favorite target, speedster wideout Tyreek Hill, to the Miami Dolphins last offseason, which put a bit of doubt into his team’s championship odds when the schedule started.
Then in the Divisional round of the playoffs against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Mahomes suffered a sprained ankle which hampered his mobility the rest of the way.
But he was able to respond with a clutch performance in the AFC Championship Game versus the Cincinnati Bengals, and then another one in the Super Bowl in which Kansas City overcame a 10-point halftime deficit to emerge victorious.
During the regular season, he led the NFL with 5,250 passing yards, 41 passing touchdowns, and a 77.6 QBR, which earned him his second regular-season MVP award.
Mahomes will face another challenge next season as JuJu Smith-Schuster, the team’s most productive wide receiver, will be suiting up for the New England Patriots.
But if there is one quarterback in the NFL today who responds well to challenges, it’s Mahomes.
