The Denver Broncos have seen many star players and coaches cycle through their organization throughout their history.
While many of these players have made a lasting impression on the fanbase, John Elway is often seen as the face of the organization.
Since 2011, Elway has been a member of the Broncos’ front office, with roles ranging from consultant, president of football operations, and general manager.
In a recent report from Mike Klis via Zac Stevens, Elway will no longer be employed by the Broncos for the 2023 season.
John Elway will no longer have a formal role with the Denver Broncos for the first time since the 2010 season, as @mikeklis first reported.
Elway’s consultant role with the team ended after this past season.

It’s tough between the helicopter play or the drive, but I was 11 when the drive happened but I have to go with 1998 super bowl. I had a smile on my face for a month!

As this fan dictates, they have fond memories of Elway’s playing days, as they reminisce about the 1998 Super Bowl.
While Elway was an impactful fan-favorite player when he was on the field, the same wasn’t always expressed about his time in the front office.
