When Hamlin collapsed on the field in Cincinnati, there was a group of many trainers who rushed to his aid.
Several fans have pledged their support for those individuals as well.

This injury has highlighted the importance of being CPR certified.
Because of the medical staff’s training, they were able to keep Hamlin alive until he got to the hospital, where more extreme measures could be taken.
