Anthony Richardson has been a talking point for NFL fans, scouts, and analysts for the past couple of weeks.
The University of Florida QB drew mixed reviews throughout the season, with some lauding his physical traits and others raising questions about his decision-making.
Richardson’s draft stock rose drastically after the NFL Scouting Combine, up to the point where some thought he might be a top-5 pick.
So, obviously, all eyes were set on him during Florida’s Pro Day earlier on Thursday afternoon, as it would give us all a chance to get a glimpse of his freakish athleticism in a controlled environment.
However, Richardson failed to impress with his drills, and fans aren’t exactly sold on him as a potential NFL star.

We already know those drills can be tricky, and there’s no such thing as a can’t-miss player when it comes to drafting.
We’ve seen guys like Zach Wilson excel at their Pro Days and then struggle mightily when it’s time to actually play, and vice versa.
But Richardson had several under-throws and wasn’t exactly at his best in a place he was used for training in, and that won’t do much to help his case against those who are worried about his ball placement and accuracy.
He’s still likely to be a top-10 pick and the third QB off the board after Bryce Young and CJ Stroud.
But unless he turns out to be great, these clips from his Pro Day might come back to haunt him for years to come.
