The NFL is full of players with large personalities.
Some are great players and some end up in the media for the wrong reasons.
One player that has been under constant scrutiny since he joined the league was Baker Mayfield.
He was the first overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft and has not lived up to the hype.
Cleveland took him in that spot after Mayfield finished up a storied college career.
He was a Heisman Trophy winner, and one of the top college quarterbacks we have seen in a long time.
But, in the NFL, Mayfield has struggled with every team he has been on.
His best season came in 2020 when he threw for 26 touchdowns and only eight interceptions.
Also, he ended the Browns’ long playoff drought that year.
Since then Mayfield has battled injuries and has simply not been very good.
However, Skip Bayless said that the hate for Mayfield drives him “nuts”.

Bayless talked about how Mayfield has accomplished “a whole lot”.
That seems to be a stretch as he only has one playoff win and a career record of 31-38.
Mayfield will now start his new journey with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
He is expected to be the starter in 2023, and it might be his last chance to show he can start in the league.
Bayless will forever be a Mayfield fan, but even his patience could run out if the has another bad season.
