The Pittsburgh Steelers have not made any significant moves this offseason.

But, they have found a way to improve their roster.

Some of their actions included adding offensive line help and a secondary player.

Isaac Seumalo, Nate Herbig, and Patrick Peterson each joined the Steelers in free agency.

But, they also re-signed a few of their own.

According to Tom Pelissero, the Steelers have agreed to a deal with tight end Zach Gentry.

This is far from an impact move, but Gentry is a solid backup tight end in the league.

He has done well for the Steelers backing up Pat Friermuth and is a solid blocking tight end.

Gentry can play special teams if necessary and is valuable in two tight-end sets.

As for the Steelers’ offense as a whole, they will go as far as Kenny Pickett will take them.

Pickett will be entering his second season and showed plenty of potential in his rookie year.

If he can take another step forward, the Steelers will compete in the AFC.

The hope for Pittsburgh is that they can run the ball more effectively in 2023.

Running back Najee Harris struggled to rip off large gains, and that put more pressure on Pickett.

One of the best remedies for a young quarterback is a strong running game.

The hope is that their improved offensive line will help the Steelers run the ball better.
