The AFC “least” is no more.
The AFC East is turning into a seriously competitive division, and nobody expected it to begin the 2022 NFL season.

That’s right.
If the season were to end today, the Miami Dolphins, the New York Jets, the Buffalo Bills, and the New England Patriots would all be in the playoffs.
While some doubters existed, the Dolphins, led by Tua Tagovailoa, are looking great.
The Jets, led by fan-favorite Zach Wilson, are silencing all of their doubters.
Somehow, somehow, the Patriots find themselves in playoff contention as well.
The Pats have had three different starting quarterbacks so far (Mac Jones, Bailey Zappe, and Brian Hoyer), and have kept it together en route to a 5-4 record.
While there are many surprises throughout the AFC East, the most shocking part of it all is that the Bills are ranked third in the division.
What Happened To The Bills?
Before the NFL campaign began, the Bills were heavily favored to win the AFC and were also targeted as an early Super Bowl pick.
Two straight losses to the Jets and the Minnesota Vikings aren’t exactly throwing up red flags for the Bills, but we do need to keep an eye on them.
The Kansas City Chiefs and the Dolphins each have seven wins, and the Jets, Baltimore Ravens, and Tennessee Titans each have six wins.
If that pace continues, the Bills aren’t going to host a playoff game this year, like so many had hoped and predicted in the preseason.
