The Chicago Bears might be the winners of the offseason so far.
They had the first overall pick and traded it to land a bunch of later picks and a star wide receiver in DJ Moore.
Also, the Bears used their cap space to add some impact players to their defense.
Two new linebackers they added are TJ Edwards and Tremaine Edmunds.
Both of them are good starters and should play a key role on their defense.
Chicago has improved their roster and could be a sneaky good team in 2023.
Also, if they wanted to pick up a few more impact players, they could do that.
According to Field Yates, the Bears have the most cap space in the NFL.
As free agency slows down a bit, here’s a look at how much each NFL team still has in cap space (including all moves that are official)

Chicago still has over $37 million in space and can sign any player they want.
The Bears have not been to the playoffs since the 2017-18 season.
With the current look of their roster, they seem to be on the cusp of getting back.
Especially if Aaron Rodgers leaves the Packers.
That would make the NFC North worse and give the Bears a better chance at winning the division.
Chicago seems to be one team to watch out for this year.
They have made drastic improvements already and still have plenty of draft picks to use.
If quarterback Justin Fields can be the player many expect him to be, the Bears could be a problem in 2023.
