The Pittsburgh Steelers are one team that has flown under the radar during free agency.

We haven’t seen them make any big moves, but they have improved their roster in some ways.

A few of the players they have already signed include Patrick Peterson, Cole Holcomb, and Elandon Roberts.

All three will help out their defense and provide depth.

Some may even be asked to fill key roles.

Even after these moves, the Steelers do not appear to be done upgrading their defense.

One player they are showing interest in is an edge rusher who has already spent six years in Pittsburgh.

According to Josina Anderson, the Steelers have had talks with Bud Dupree about a possible reunion.

Many Steelers fans seem happy that their team is interested in bringing back Dupree.

One problem with Dupree is that he can’t seem to stay healthy.

He has played exactly 11 games in each of the past three seasons.

Titans fans know that far too well.

But, when Dupree was with the Steelers he had some of the best years of his career.

In 2019, he recorded a career-high 11.5 sacks and 16 tackles for loss.

He has familiarity and comfort playing in Pittsburgh.

Dupree and TJ Watt can form a solid pass-rush duo for the Steelers.

Especially if Pittsburgh can get the best out of Dupree as they did earlier in his career.

The Steelers seem to be the only team showing interest in Dupree so far.

So seeing him back in Pittsburgh looks like a strong possibility.
