Now that the NFL trade deadline has passed, the second half of the season is ready to begin.
We saw plenty of players change teams on deadline day and some moves could have substantial impacts.
It is hard for players to switch teams mid-season and have a substantial impact.
But, these two players should thrive with their new teams.
1. Kadarius Toney, Kansas City Chiefs
The Chiefs made an under-the-radar move last week that could end up being crucial.
Kansas City went out and acquired Giants wide receiver Kadarius Toney.
Toney was a first-round pick in 2021 but struggled to get going in New York.
Now, with a fresh start in Kansas City, Toney should be able to flourish.
Kadarius Toney is by far the most talented WR on KC now. We really don’t have to overthink what the WR rotations will be
The Chiefs went out and got the player they felt they are missing
Toney is an amazing fit with Reid and will have a big role in the back-half of the season

Toney is an electric playmaker that can do damage all over the field.
Playing with Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid should do wonders for the young receiver.
Reid is an elite play-caller and can find smart ways to get Toney the ball in space.
The Chiefs needed an elite playmaker at wide receiver, and Toney should be able to provide that.
2. Bradley Chubb, Miami Dolphins
Arguably the best player traded on deadline day was Bradley Chubb.
The Miami Dolphins went all in to acquire Chubb from the Broncos.
Despite having to pay a hefty price, the 26-year-old is having a very good season.
Trade terms, source tells ESPN:

He has recorded 5.5 sacks on the season, along with four tackles for loss.
Miami realizes to win the AFC they will have to go through the Chiefs and Bills.
So getting pressure on Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen will be vital for the Dolphins.
That is why then went out and got Chubb.
He should be the Dolphins’ best pass-rusher and help them contend in the AFC.
