The NFL is giving plenty of surprises this season for fans of the game.
From the Jets having a miracle season this year to the Indianapolis Colts firing their head coach, there are plenty of surprises.
However, there might be some surprise firings after the season is over with NFL head coaches.
So what two coaches might shockingly get their walking papers after the NFL season concludes?
2. Dennis Allen
The New Orleans Saints are having a great season this year under Dennis Allen.
While injuries are hurting the team, the Saints might not care with their team losing games.
With the team still having Sean Payton under contract, they might try to convince him to come back.
I know we’re all fascinated at the thought of someone paying a pretty penny for Sean Payton (and rightfully so don’t misunderstand me)
But what’s to say people won’t wait until his contract with the Saints expires in 2024? 2023 is almost here anyway so what’s another season?

His contract doesn’t expire until 2024, meaning he’s still a Saint until someone gives the team compensation for him.
If Payton wants to come back, then it’s possible the Saints bring him back.
1. Matt LaFleur
The 2022 season for the Green Bay Packers has been a total disaster.
With Matt LaFleur and the Packers having no Super Bowl appearances, and the team looking horrible this season, it might be curtains for LaFleur.
While some might believe he can survive this season, fans might have forgotten what happened to Mike McCarthy.
When McCarthy was having one poor season, the Packers cut ties with him and hired LaFleur the following season.
With Green Bay being a place full of history, history might repeat itself with LaFleur.
It’s already repeating itself with Aaron Rodgers and his inability to take Green Bay to a second Super Bowl during his career.
