The Denver Broncos are having an abysmal season, with the play of Russell Wilson being a big reason why.
Wilson has not looked anything like himself this season, enduring his worst year as a pro.
But, there are reasons for hope if you are a Broncos fan that Wilson can turn it around.
His track record states that this year is an anomaly, but he will be under plenty of pressure to perform next season.
Here are two reasons Wilson can be better in 2023.
1.New HC/OC
After this season it seems apparent that the Broncos will move on from head coach Nathaniel Hackett.
There is no question Hackett has not worked out as a head coach as his offense is the worst in the NFL.

Having a new coach and offensive play-caller could resurrect Wilson’s career.
Finding a creative offensive coordinator that can help Wilson get back to his Seattle ways is crucial.
Also, Denver knows they are stuck with Wilson for the foreseeable future, so they will take all the necessary steps to get him back on track.
Finding the right head coach and offensive coordinator could make or break the rest of Wilson’s career.
2. Healthy Roster
This season has not been the best from a health standpoint for the Broncos.
They have lost many key contributors to injury.
Making it very difficult to build any momentum throughout the year.
Denver lost one of their best offensive playmakers in Javonte Williams early in the season.
Also, they have offensive linemen and wide receivers in and out of the lineup each week.
