As we enter Week 11 of the NFL season, every contending team is jostling for playoff position.
But with most teams, their success is based on the teams they play.
Teams with a soft schedule ahead have a much better chance to improve their playoff odds.
But, there are a few teams that are heading into the most difficult part of their schedule.
Here are two NFL teams that have a tough remaining schedule.
1.New York Giants
The New York Giants have made it through the easy part of their schedule with a 7-2 record.
But now from Thanksgiving on, they get set for the toughest schedule in the NFL.
Six of the Giants’ final eight games are against teams with a .500 or better record.
Giants have the most difficult remaining strength-of-schedule (.633).

Their toughest games include playing at the Dallas Cowboys, against the Philadelphia Eagles twice, and at the Minnesota Vikings.
Most people are still not believers in the Giants despite their 7-2 start.
Well, these final eight games of the regular season will show everyone if the Giants are contenders or pretenders.
2.New England Patriots
The New England Patriots have their work cut out for them over the final two months of the regular season.
The Patriots are in a spot where they need to win just about every game to stay alive in the AFC playoff race.
But, their schedule is doing them no favors.
The #Patriots are scheduled to have four straight primetime games after this week’s game vs. the #Jets:
Week 12: @ MIN (Thanksgiving Night)
Week 13: vs. BUF (TNF)
Week 14: @ ARZ (MNF)
Week 15: @ LV (SNF)— Ari Meirov (@MySportsUpdate) November 17, 2022
New England is set to face six teams with a winning record in their final eight games.
The Patriots have to face the Buffalo Bills twice, Minnesota Vikings, Miami Dolphins, and Cincinnati Bengals.
Looking at the opposing quarterbacks they will face, the Patriots will have a QB disadvantage in every game except one.
When they face the New York Jets and Zach Wilson.
All the pressure will be on Bill Belichick and the Patriots’ defense to limit the scoring of their opponents.
If they can do that, the Patriots have a chance to stay afloat and make a playoff push.
