The NFL is full of elite quarterbacks, but some have not played up to their potential this season.
It might be due to age, or offensive scheme, but we see it every year with a few quarterbacks.
This season two names that were once considered the best in the league played poorly.
Here are two NFL quarterbacks who have been disappointing in 2022.
Russell Wilson, Denver Broncos
There has not been a more disappointing player in the NFL than Russell Wilson this season.
After being traded to the Broncos in the offseason, many people thought this could be a Super Bowl team.
Instead, they will finish with one of the worst records in football.
Wilson has only thrown 11 touchdown passes in 12 games, along with a career-low 60.4% completion percentage.

After signing a massive contract extension in the offseason, Wilson will be with the Broncos for the foreseeable future.
But, he must play better next season if he hopes to remain the starter in Denver.
More than likely the Broncos will have a new head coach and offensive coordinator next year.
So the Broncos’ front office will need to find the right coach to save Wilson’s career.
Tom Brady, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Even though he is considered the Greatest of All Time, Tom Brady has struggled this season in Tampa Bay.
The Bucs have a terrible record of 6-7 and Brady is not putting up his normal passing stats.
In 13 games, Brady has 17 touchdown passes and a career-low 50.9 QBR.
His play this season has many people questioning whether or not this will be his last NFL season.

Brady will have to play his best ball of the season over these last four games.
Tampa Bay is still fighting for a playoff berth and Brady have shown in the past to play his best when everything is on the line.
But, make no mistake about it, this has been a disappointing season for Brady.
