The NFL trade deadline for 2022 had some shocking moves.

However, some of the shock came from teams not making moves.

With plenty of movement going on before the deadline, there are NFL fans wanting to know which players were losers after the deadline.

Only two names come up for players who were losers on Tuesday’s trade deadline.

So who are these two losers from the NFL trade deadline this past Tuesday?

2. Roquan Smith

While the Roquan Smith trades to the Baltimore Ravens puts him on a better team, he’s still a loser in the deal.

With the Ravens having Lamar Jackson, whose contract expires after this season, there’s no hope for Smith to get a deal with the Ravens.

Smith not only loses on a team who can’t afford him next year, but he also loses because he never wanted to leave Chicago.

His desire to stay in Chicago with a long-term deal is something he told the media during the NFL offseason.

Now, he’s with a new team and no contract, as his current contract expires after this season.

1. Aaron Rodgers

Aaron Rodgers rarely has anyone calling him a “loser” throughout his NFL career.

However, the 2022 season is seeing the Green Bay Packers going all-out to turn Rodgers into a loser.

While the Packers didn’t trade him, he’s a trade deadline loser because they failed yet again to get him help on offense.

With his NFC North rivals getting playmakers, he’s left with rookie receivers.

The Packers failing to get Brandin Cooks or Chase Claypool makes Rodgers a loser.

With him needing help, he remains helpless in Green Bay.
